These PRINT & GO coordinate plane guided notes are a great way to introduce your 6th grade students to key coordinate plane terms, identifying and graphing ordered pairs and finding the distance between points.

This student-approved resource will save you time and help you teach this skill with confidence. When you are done, students will have a reference sheet to use all year long!

• 4.4 I can identify ordered pairs represented by points in the four quadrants and on the axes of the coordinate plane.
• 4.5 I can relate the coordinates of a point to the distance from each axis and relate the coordinates of a single point to another point on the same horizontal or vertical line.
